About the position

We are seeking an energetic Business Development Manager to continue DeepSea’s growth across Greece. You will be responsible for developing new business, and driving enterprise sales into the region’s most important shipping organisations.

This role requires focus, grit and drive - identifying the companies and individuals who will benefit most from DeepSea’s products, generating deep engagement across multiple stakeholders, and building long-term relationships at both operational and executive levels.

This role is suitable for those who have some prior experience selling complex products, and are now looking to take the next step towards managing full enterprise deals - with the support of an industry-leading commercial team. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Own the full enterprise sales cycle for your region with a particular focus on strategic targeting and outreach 

  • Actively and consistently prospect, cold outreach, and add high-value prospects to build a strong pipeline in the region

  • Identify client challenges and align them with the relevant elements of the DeepSea solution ecosystem

  • Collaborate with product, operations and customer success teams to ensure client needs are clearly understood and addressed

  • Provide structured feedback from the market to help shape our go-to-market strategy and product roadmap

  • Represent DeepSea at industry events and within key account networks, further establishing our presence as a category leader in maritime digitalisation

Job requirements

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in maritime tech industry, in customer facing positions, ideally having enterprise B2B sales experience

  • A highly driven, self-starter mindset 

  • Ability to navigate complex sales environments with multiple stakeholders and long sales cycles

  • Strong ability to grasp technical concepts

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus

Desired, but not mandatory:

  • Experience within Deep Tech environments

  • Experience in the ship monitoring or performance industries

  • Experience within SaaS businesses 

  • Familiarity with the principles of Artificial Intelligence
